【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivestherequirementsforatechnicalfileontheevaluationofthechemical,physical,mechanical,biologicalandclinicalaspectsandbehaviourofmembranematerials,whetherresorbable,partiallyresorbableornon-resorbable,whichareused—forguidedtissueregenerationinoralandmaxillofacialsurgerytocorrectamorphologicaldefectorabnormality,—incontactwithteethand/ordentalimplants,—forpreventionofepithelialmigrationinperiodontalsurgery,—fortheaugmentationofbonepriortotheplannedinsertionofdentalimplants,—and/orforaugmentationofboneforstabilizationofdentalprostheses.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletomaterialswhoseprimaryintendeduseistodeliveramedicinalproduct,autograftsandallografts,ormaterialsintendedtoactthroughpharmacological,immunologicalormetabolicmeans.
