【摘要】:Thispracticeoutlinesauniversallyapplicableproceduretovalidatetheperformanceofaquantitativeorqualitative,empiricallyderived,multivariatecalibrationrelativetoanacceptedreferencemethod.Thispracticeprovidesproceduresforevaluatingthecapabilityofacalibrationtoprovidereliableestimationsrelativetoanacceptedreferencemethod.Thispracticeprovidespurchasersofameasurementsystemthatincorporatesanempiricallyderivedmultivariatecalibrationwithoptionsforspecifyingvalidationrequirementstoensurethatthesystemiscapableofprovidingestimationswithanappropriatedegreeofagreementwithanacceptedreferencemethod.Thispracticeprovidestheuserofameasurementsystemthatincorporatesanempiricallyderivedmultivariatecalibrationwithprocedurescapableofprovidinginformationthatmaybeusefulforongoingqualityassuranceoftheperformanceofthemeasurementsystem.Validationinformationobtainedintheapplicationofthispracticeisapplicableonlytothematerialtypeandpropertyrangeofthematerialsusedtoperformthevalidationandonlyfortheindividualmeasurementsystemonwhichthepracticeiscompletelyapplied.Itistheuser''sresponsibilitytoselectthepropertylevelsandthecompositionalcharacteristicsofthevalidationsamplessuchthattheyaresuitabletotheapplication.Thispracticeallowstheusertowriteacomprehensivevalidationstatementfortheanalyzersystemincludingspecificlimitsforthevalidatedrangeofapplicationandspecificrestrictionstothepermittedusesofthemeasurementsystem.Usersarecautionedagainstextrapolationofvalidationresultsbeyondthematerialtype(s)andpropertyrange(s)usedtoobtaintheseresults.Usersarecautionedthatavalidatedempiricallyderivedmultivariatecalibrationisapplicableonlytosamplesthatfallwithinthesubsetpopulationrepresentedinthevalidationset.Theestimationfromanempiricallyderivedmultivariatecalibrationcanonlybevalidatedwhentheapplicabilityofthecalibrationisexplicitlyestablishedfortheparticularmeasurementforwhichtheestimationisproduced.Applicabilitycannotbeassumed.1.1Thispracticecoversrequirementsforthevalidationofempiricallyderivedcalibrations(Note1)suchascalibrationsderivedbyMultipleLinearRegression(MLR),PrincipalComponentRegression(PCR),PartialLeastSquares(PLS),ArtificialNeuralNetworks(ANN),oranyotherempiricalcalibrationtechniquewherebyarelationshipispostulatedbetweenasetofvariablesmeasuredforagivensampleundertestandoneormorephysical,chemical,quality,ormembershippropertiesapplicabletothatsample.Note18212;Empiricallyderivedcalibrationsaresometimesreferredtoasx201C;modelsx201D;orx201C;calibrations.x201D;Inthefollowingtext,forconciseness,thetermx201C;calibrationx201D;maybeusedinsteadofthefullnameoftheprocedure.1.2Thispracticedoesnotcoverproceduresforestablishingsaidpostulatedrelationship.1.3Thispracticeservesasanoverviewoftechniquesusedtoverifytheapplicabilityofanempiricallyderivedmultivariatecalibrationtothemeasurementofasampleundertestandtoverifyequivalencebetweenthepropertiescalculatedfromtheempiricallyderivedmultivariatecalibrationandtheresultsofanacceptedreferencemethodofmeasurementtowithincontrollimitsestablishedfortheprespecifiedstatisticalconfidencelevel.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetycon......
