【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthedesign,testing,performanceandequippingofroadambulancesusedforthetransportandcareofpatients.Itcontainsrequirementsforthepatient’scompartment.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcovertherequirementsforapprovalandregistrationofthevehicleandthetrainingofthestaffwhichistheresponsibilityoftheauthority/authoritiesinthecountrywheretheambulanceistoberegistered.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoroadambulancescapableoftransportingatleastonepersononastretcher.Requirementsarespecifiedforcategoriesofroadambulancesbasedinincreasingorderoftheleveloftreatmentthatcanbecarriedout.Thesearethepatienttransportambulance(typesA1A2),theemergencyambulance(typeB)andthemobileintensivecareunit(typeC).ThisEuropeanStandardgivesgeneralrequirementsformedicaldevicescarriedinroadambulancesandusedthereinandoutsidehospitalsandclinicsinsituationswheretheambientconditionscandifferfromnormalindoorconditions.
